Orthodontics

Orthodontics is the area of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of dental and facial irregularities occurring in children and adults. It deals primarily with straightening teeth and correcting how they meet. It is also concerned with the growth and development of the teeth, jaws, and face.

Orthodontics works by using an appliance which is designed to apply a constant gentle force to the required teeth. Given time, this will move the teeth naturally to the new desired positions. The appliances can either be fixed or removable. Functional appliances are also used, but these are different since they are designed to posture the jaw forwards to improve its position, rather than to move individual teeth. A combination of appliances may be needed for some patients.

All Bridges, Crowns, Dental Implants, Root Canal, Orthodontics and Veneers are tax deductible.
